arx trento doc

From the earth to the peak

Let yourself be inspired

materia

In the vineyards of Trentino, the warm caress of the Ora del Garda meets the fresh breath of the Marmolada. Here, Arx Trento Doc is born.

At an altitude between 600 and 700 meters above sea level, in a land synonymous with excellent viticulture for centuries, numerous vines sink their roots into a loamy-sandy soil. A rich soil, where the porphyritic component gives the landscape its unmistakable reddish reflections, and a significant presence of limestone in the soil lends the sparkling wine an elegant minerality.

arx method

Savor a millennial history: a new tradition of Trento Doc.

We believe in the details that make the difference, and Arx is an extremely carefully crafted Trento Doc in every aspect.

Starting with the strictly manual harvest, then proceeding within a few hours to the next pressing phase, achieved by the gentle pressing of the grapes using a vertical press.

This historical technique allows for a product that is as natural and authentic as possible. The controlled temperature fermentations and aging in steel enhance the sapidity and minerality of this sparkling wine.

strength and passion,
Nature and Man

Before being a fresh sparkling wine tempered by the wind in the heart of the Alps, Arx Trento Doc is a feeling that arises at the foot of the castle of Arco, the birthplace of our winemaker and source of inspiration for the constant search for harmony in tastes. Marcus Tullius Cicero saw in "VINUM" the perfect union of Vis - strength and Vir - man, celebrating wine as the combination of nature's power and man's mastery.

Looking back, we become witnesses and protagonists of the result of centuries of working the world of viticulture. An innate passion for history embraces the art of oenology and today, the dedication to more advanced management techniques, respect for the territory and environment, and the adoption of more evolved cellar practices, are the highest expression of our ancestors' field research. Arx Trento Doc is a millennial story to be savored in sips, fresh and in good company.

Fresh spring breeze

Trento Doc 24 months, 100% Chardonnay. Vis is the quintessence of Trentino bubbles. It seduces with its freshness, very fine and persistent perlage, and intense aroma that markedly evokes apple and citrus blossom.

history

A recent excavation in Alto Garda unearthed a Lombard brooch from the 8th century, a fascinating artifact depicting a unicorn. The perfect protagonist to tell the story of Arx's connection with history and the territory: the legendary creature can be glimpsed behind a vine taken from a medieval botanical text.

pairings

Vis 24 months is a fresh bubble with a lively and spring character that enchants the senses with its intense scents of apple, citrus blossoms, orange peel, and pear. Its straw-yellow color, enriched with golden reflections, and the dense, fine, and persistent perlage make it a true visual spectacle.

Ideal for an aperitif or to accompany delicate dishes based on fresh vegetables or lakefish, allowing its floral component to enhance the elegance of the dish. It also pairs wonderfully with typical Italian first courses, creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Sea breeze at sunset

Trento Doc 48 months, 100% Chardonnay. Vir is the highest expression of mountain bubbles. Vir impresses with its austere soul given by balsamic and citrus aromas combined with chestnut, ash, flint, and hay, extremely fine perlage, and unexpected sapidity.

history

The powerful energy of nature originates from the soil, permeates the vine, concentrates in the cluster, and finally pours into the wine and those who savor it. The label of Vir Trento Doc Riserva 48 months is inspired by fascinating medieval miniatures, narrating an ancient cyclical story, where vitality seems to continue flowing through the label thanks to the copper foil printing.

pairings

Vir TrentoDoc Riserva 48 months offers an enveloping and autumnal profile, with notes of citrus, hay, and chestnut, enriched by a hint of ash and rock. The aging of over four years on the lees gives complexity and depth, while the very fine perlage intensifies the sensory experience.

It embodies the best characteristics of Trentino Chardonnay, ideal for accompanying noble meats and lake or sea fish, with a minerally and sapidly fresh finish reminiscent of the sea breeze.
